Mandatory International Student Orientation
Fall 2023
The Late International Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming New, Change-of-Status, Transfer and Reinstatement international F-1 students who could not attend the Orientation in August.
The Late International Orientation is scheduled for September 15 from 8:00 am Central Time. If you do not attend the International Student Orientation, you will be blocked from enrolling at HCC for the next semester until you have met the orientation requirement.
Registration link for the Virtual Orientation on Septenber 15, 8:00 am -11:30 am Central Time: https://hccs.webex.com/weblink/register/r9280aec67c6bce25df08bf0e82aa3b4f
The Late Orientation will be conducted via Webex. You will receive an invitation sent to your primary email to complete the registration form that will be part of the invitation. You may need to download and set up the Webex application before the orientation day.
You only need to add your Last and First Names, valid email address and HCC ID number on the left side and submit the registration. You can take classes at all HCC campuses. However, in order to improve your HCC experience and assign you an academic advisor, you will be asked to choose your preferred HCC campus where you plan to take most of the classes or which is closer to your home in Houston. No password is required.
Once you register, you will receive a second email confirming your registration. 15 minutes prior to the event (not earlier), you will be able to join the session. Check your primary email in HCC Student account, to ensure you receive all communications from our office.
We expect all students who have missed the regular F-1 student orientation and are going to attend the Late Orientation to have completed their enrollment process with HCC at that time.
