Why did you choose HCC Coleman College?
I chose a school that I knew would best prepare me for a career as a PTA. HCC’s program has an excellent reputation and is known to be top class. It has been the best decision I ever made.
Why did you choose your program of study?
I have always been interested in science as well as wellness and fitness. The PTA program is a beautiful combination of these two interests while focused on providing excellent patient care.
What did you like best about your college experience?
I loved the professors and staff at HCC Coleman College. I never once doubted their desire for their students to succeed, and I appreciated their constant availability. To this day, the professors I had have been my favorite in my academic career.
What did you like best about your program of study?
I was very pleased with how well the HCC program prepared me for my career as a PTA. I was able to pass the board exam on my first attempt, and I have received many positive comments from my mentors and coworkers regarding my overall knowledge and confidence.
When you were tired, what motivated you to push forward?
Keep your eyes on the prize. When I was tired, I would envision myself in the career I wanted, and I knew all the hard work would pay off.
What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
People very rarely succeed without mentorship and help from others. Reach out to your classmates, start a study group, speak to your professor – these small actions add up to your ultimate success. I would not have made it to where I am today without my classmates and professors.
How did your education change or improve your life?
Every day I look forward to giving back to others through my work as a PTA. I have my dream job thanks to the HCC PTA program!
