I chose the Health Information Technology program because I have a chance to play a vital role in healthcare delivery through the management of sensitive patient data. It also offers an incredible opportunity for growth in a wonderfully diverse field.

What do you like best about your college experience?
There is always an opportunity to engage with my peers, my instructors, and with professionals already in the field. This engagement, combined with the enormous amount of support from faculty, has certainly enriched my academic journey.

What do you like best about your program of study?
This program has helped me see the role health information technology plays in improving patient outcomes, decreasing healthcare costs, and mitigating risk. I also like that the instructors teach us about evolving trends in health information technology, encouraging us to be more adaptable.

When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward?
My motivation during tired moments stems from always wanting to inspire continuous learning in others. I am driven by the ambition to secure a leadership position where I can reshape hiring practices, offering entry points to the field for newcomers with limited experience.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Stay curious and ask questions, seek out mentors, and embrace collaboration. Curiosity fuels learning, mentors provide guidance, and collaboration teaches us that sometimes, challenges are best solved through collective effort.

Any final thoughts?
