Why did you choose HCC Coleman College?
The Respiratory Therapy program at HCC Coleman College is affordable and has a great reputation for producing top-notch graduates. It’s recognized by hospitals across Texas. I knew where I wanted to go.

Why did you choose your program of study?
I chose Respiratory Therapy because of the potential for growth in healthcare and the variety of career paths it offered. 

What did you like best about your college experience?
I liked the structure of the curriculum and its support for students. I was also inspired by my wonderful professors and found my passion in teaching.

What did you like best about your program of study?
The variety of clinical practices offered to students helped me find my niche in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

When you were tired, what motivated you to push forward?
My family and my classmates always encouraged me to continue, and I'm grateful for their support.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Education isn't always about making As. It’s about dedication and persistence. Keep going and don't give up. In the end, it's worth it and it's rewarding.

How did your education change or improve your life?
My education improved my life economically, personally, and professionally.  I not only found a great job but also became an instructor at HCC Coleman College.

I also continued my education, and now I’m currently enrolled in a master’s program in curriculum and instruction at the University of Houston.
