I am a computed tomography technologist at Houston Methodist Hospital and St. Luke’s Health - Sugar Land Hospital. I am also a CT clinical instructor for the Radiography program at HCC Coleman College.

Why did you choose HCC Coleman College?
I chose to go to HCC because it has one of the best radiography programs in Houston.

Why did you choose your program of study?
I chose Radiography because I knew it was a field that I would be able to thrive in, and it would offer me great opportunities for professional growth.

What did you like best about your college experience?
My college experience was great due to the guidance of my knowledgeable instructors and my amazing clinical rotation experiences in some of Houston’s best hospitals and clinics.

What did you like best about your program of study?
The thing I liked best about my program of study was the clinical rotations. It was great to see what I was learning in the classroom be put to use in the real world.

When you were tired, what motivated you to push forward?
While I was going to school, I was also working. What motivated me throughout my time in the program was knowing it will all be worth it in the end.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Always work hard. Hard work will never go unnoticed.

How did your education change or improve your life?
My education completely changed my life. I am now financially independent, and I know that my particular set of skills will always be in demand.
