About Cisco Certified Network Associate
The HCC-Cisco Network Academy CCNA prepares the student to install, set up, configure, troubleshoot and operate a medium-sized routed and switched computer network. This also includes implementing and verifying connections to a wide area network (WAN). In addition is prepares the student for the CCNA Certification.
The Cisco Networking Academy program helps students build skills such as collaboration and problem solving by encouraging practical application of knowledge through hands-on activities and network simulations. With the use of Packet Tracer simulation and visualization software, students create, configure, and troubleshoot complex simulated networks.
CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills.

Note: Current CCNA certification, CCNA-level knowledge or successful completion of CCNA Semester 4 of a Cisco Network Academy is required.
What are the prerequisites?
Student must have A+ and Network +certificates or 12 months working in networking field.
