How to Submit Documents

Students are encouraged to check their financial aid to-do list items and submit requested forms or documentation through the Student Service Center.

To check your Financial Aid to-do list items:

  1. Visit myeagle.hccs.edu
  2. Select "Student Sign In"
  3. Select the Checklist tile/box to view Financial Aid to-do list Items that will note what documentation or forms you need to submit.

Most financial aid forms can be submitted online. For step-by-step details on how to submit online forms, please click here. Please only submit forms that are on your to-do list.

Disbursements and Refunds

The Financial Aid Office will continue to disburse and refund financial aid funds remotely. Please know we will process funds as quickly as possible and will communicate updates. You can view the most up-to-date disbursement and refund schedule here: www.hccs.edu/disbursements-refunds.

Withdrawals

We know students are facing additional responsibilities at home and work, and a shift in how courses are accessed. Please know it’s still important for you to stay enrolled and pass courses.

At this time, federal regulations still require the Financial Aid Office to count withdrawals for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) evaluation and make adjustments to financial aid awards when enrollment statuses change. Books and Access Codes

We are pleased to report that students can access services online and the Bookstore is currently offering Free Shipping for Online Orders over $25.


Please place your order on the website at www.hccs.bncollege.com. HCC Student Financial Aid, B&N Gift Cards and Major Credit Cards are accepted forms of payment. For items in-stock, normal shipping time will be 1-2 business days after order is placed.

For students utilizing a Bookstore Voucher outside of HCC Student Financial Aid, student will need to send a direct email to sm515@bncollege.com notifying us of their need to use a Bookstore Voucher and we will work with them to facilitate the necessary documentation to complete an Online Order for Home Delivery. These voucher agencies include, but are not limited to, VA Chapter 31, Baker Ripley, and TX Workforce Commission.

Students may email their questions using the contact form here: hccs.bncollege.com. Bookstore representatives will be available to respond Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm and Friday from 9 am to 1 pm.

 

Loan Repayments

The president signed the CARES Act into law, which, among other things, provides relief for federal student loan borrowers. Scholarship Checks Process

Students receiving outside scholarship funds should have their scholarship checks sent to address below.

Checks will be processed once a week by the cashier's office and emailed to the HCC Scholarship Coordinator. Questions regarding outside privately funded scholarships should be emailed to finaid.district@hccs.edu.
