Houston Community College received the National Science Foundation Grant to provide scholarships to students majoring in STEM area – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The STEM Scholarship Program is an academic excellence program that offers mentoring, educational and financial support opportunities and requires participation in a special workshop series designed to optimize academic performance in key science, technology, engineering, and mathematics courses.

Students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship to receive financial support and become part of a “virtual cohort” of a small group of NSF Scholars, Faculty Advisors and Student Support Associate.
