IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
From the Counseling Dept at HCC SW:

• There are strict deadlines for graduation applications. Students should file for graduation by February 15 (for Spring completion) or by October 15 (for Fall completion). There is only one graduation ceremony each year, and it is held in May.

• Students should see a Counselor to file a degree plan during their first semester at HCC.

• Financial aid is a process. Students must apply in advance of the semester they plan to use it if they qualify. The priority deadline for completing financial aid applications and submitting all documents to the financial aid office is April 15.

• Scholarships are awarded once a year in the spring for the following fall and spring semesters. The application deadline for the 2009-2010 school year is May 4, 2010.

• Students should register early for classes to secure desired selections and times. The college registration policy is first come, first served. There is no holding a slot or course reservation.
