Which classes will transfer to a four year university?
All courses offered by the Government Department at Houston Community College will transfer to four-year universities. The two basic Government courses, 2301 and 2302, are required for all bachelor's degrees issued by public universities in the state of Texas.

Who should I speak to determine which class I should take?
In general, since all bachelor's degrees issued by public universities in Texas require both Government 2301 and 2302, a student should complete both of these courses at Houston Community College. It is important to note that the courses are not sequential, which means that you do not have to take Government 2301 before you take Government 2302. Both courses may be taken in the same semester if the student wishes to do so.
