Pop Nouveau poster paintings are faux product advertisements, inspired by turn-of-the-century French poster art. Chadwick and Spector have lived in six countries over the last 10 years including: England, United States, Czech Republic, Singapore, Thailand and China, and their art is influenced by a variety of culture and traditions.

Houston Residents Chadwick Gray (Chaz) and Laura Spector (Lola) have come across their fair share of cultural exchanges over the past decade. The journeying artistic duo uses its traveling experience as a muse in making Pop Nouveau Poster Paintings that have been been published in The Harvard Review, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!, and in the book, The Real Real Thing: The Model in the Mirror of Art by Wendy Steiner.
