Students headed back to school with pencils sharpened and backpacks filled. Faculty and staff graciously helped students through the hustle and bustle of the first week of school and wished them a successful fall semester.

Houston Community College did its part to help fill 3,200 backpacks for students at the Baker-Ripley Back-to-School Fair with pencils and other school supplies. It also handed out literature and gave information on classes available for upcoming semesters.

The Houston Community College Central Campus is the longest running campus in the HCC district. It welcomed students back to school last week and alleviated some of the growing pains from incoming freshman and transfers with its New Student Orientation Program.
