About Business Administration
The Business Administration Department of Houston Community College System Southwest provides experienced, up-to-date instruction for credit and non-credit programs in all aspects of business training. Our instructors are premiere in their fields with excellent academic credentials as well as lengthy experience in business and industry.
Houston Community College-Southwest also offers the Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management Certificate which will provide the student with the knowledge and ability to apply individual skills for an entry-level position.
The Business Administration field offers employment in many business and industrial occupations. Completing the A.A.S. in Management or Human Resources Management will qualify a person to seek entry-level employment in many areas.

Houston Community College Southwest Center for Entrepreneurship Certificate Programs are designed to develop and produce entrepreneurs who open successful businesses and fuel economic growth at the community level throughout the Greater Houston area. Many who enter our entrepreneur certificate programs have a marketable skill. Some simply want a few courses or others want a year’s worth of education and training that will help them learn new skills to add to their knowledge base and turn it into a business of their own.
